In 1999 a new community hub was brought to life through the Goldfields Oasis Recreation Centre. Growing through the years, the Centre offers Health Club facilities with 24/7 access, 40+ live and virtual Group Fitness classes, multi-use courts, a growing Learn to Swim member base, Creche services for children 8 weeks to 12 years, a 50m lap pool, 25m Leisure Pool, an indoor slide, and a heated Water Playground. To continue to offer exceptional services, the Oasis employs approximately 100 staff across all areas. The Oasis currently has approximately 12% of the City’s population as members of the facility with an activation rate of roughly 70%.
